A New York-based independent film production company is seeking a full-time Bookkeeper/Production and Post-Production Accountant.
The position will be responsible for maintaining the books and overseeing general accounting needs of the company while also being responsible for managing production and post-production accounting across all films; this will include tax credit recoupment and audits.
The ideal candidate will have production accounting experience, extensive knowledge of New York and New Jersey film tax credit programs, and proficiency in film accounting software (QuickBooks, PSL, and Showbiz). Previous experience with CAMAs is a plus, but not required.
This is a remote position.
