Post Producer

The Role: We are looking for a highly organized and creatively minded Mid-Level Post Producer to join our team. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our offline editorial process, shepherding commercial campaigns from raw dailies through to picture lock and turnover. You will be the crucial link between our roster of talented editors, our assistant editors, and our agency clients, ensuring that the creative edit is supported by a flawless schedule and budget.

What You'll Do:
• Editorial Management: Oversee multiple offline editorial projects simultaneously, guiding them from the initial project award through to final picture lock.
• Scheduling & Resources: Manage the daily calendars of Editors and Assistant Editors. Coordinate supervised and unsupervised edit sessions, ensuring creative milestones and client presentation dates are met.
• Budgets:Track actuals, flag potential overages (e.g., additional cutdowns or weekend work), and manage final billing.
• Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for agency producers and creatives during the edit. Facilitate seamless review sessions (in-person or remote via tools like ClearView/Evercast) and ensure a premium hospitality experience.
• The Turnover: Coordinate with Assistant Editors to ensure locked cuts are prepped perfectly for the handoff. Act as the liaison between our offline team and external finishing partners (Color, VFX, Audio Mix) to ensure a smooth transition.

What You Bring:
• Experience: 3 years of hands-on producing experience specifically within a commercial editorial company or agency post-department.
• Workflow Expertise: A deep, practical understanding of offline editorial workflows, including dailies processing, Avid/Premiere pipelines, and the technical requirements for turning over to finish.
• Financial Acumen: Proven experience managing editorial budgets, tracking actuals, and negotiating scope changes. (Knowledge of AICP bidding formats is highly preferred).
• Problem Solver: You thrive under pressure, can pivot quickly when a director requests a last-minute recut, and know how to keep a room calm.
• Communication: Stellar written and verbal communication skills. You know how to protect your editors' time while keeping the client happy and informed.
