The Manager of Production Finance & Accounting will be responsible for the following:
• Oversee and manage production accounting on multiple concurrent projects (pre-production through post).
• New project set-up for the production accounting system, credit cards, and PCards.
• Work with the production teams throughout the project to review cost reports, providing feedback on actuals and making all needed changes to cost reports.
• Review project funding and cash flow to ensure funding requests are sent to the Networks timely.
• Work with production teams to ensure all costs are accurately reflected, and monitor variances between EFCs and production budgets.
• Review and reconcile Bank, PCards, Credit Cards, and Petty Cash Accounts.
• Review weekly all projects Accounts Payable and process necessary payments.
• Manage all network cost reporting & production accounting audits.
• Assist production team with tax incentive applications, provide accurate tracking of tax credit spend, and manage tax incentive audits.
• Help streamline and find efficiencies for internal processes, reporting, and production financial systems.
Preferred qualifications:
• 5+ years of Production Finance experience with a successful track record
• Working knowledge of Movie Magic Budgeting, production accounting and payroll systems
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Proficient in Excel
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Salary/Benefits
$120,000.00
- 140,000.00
per year
