This is a Full Time Job
In-Person Position
Tasks include:
Download, LTO-backup, Premiere-conversion/ingest of terabytes of footage daily/weekly
Ingesting/transcoding from various raw physical media in addition to downloads (CFast, CFExpress, XQD, AXSM, RED MAG, SD, etc.)
Tiger Spaces SAN drive maintenance, creation of new project drives/users and archive/deletion as necessary, permissions, data organization, partition space management
De-archive of higher-resolution/raw shoot footage for online, push to client drives
Interface with Post Super/Coordinator, Editors, and Online Editor for search of old material and new ingests
Clear communication with Production regarding receipt, ingest, clearing of drives going back into the field
General Tier 1 IT hardware/software troubleshooting
All done under the constraints of Tier 0 security measures implemented by Studios/Networks to keep media safe/secure and including tracking encrypted drives and system access with weekly reporting to owner
Knowledge of:
Codecs, resolutions, LUTs
Adobe Premiere/Media Encoder, DaVinci Resolve, REDCINE-X, Sony RAW Viewer, Automator, YoYotta
Some camera/lens knowledge a plus
Must be:
Detail-oriented, cool under pressure, technically adept, ability to multi-task and problem-solve
