Award winning production company is looking for an experienced true crime EP for a temporary TBD period of time. Candidate must be able to work as a local in NYC.

The position requires overseeing all aspects of production one or multiple returning true crime series. Duties include overseeing the work of the showrunner and production team, giving notes on all pitches, act breakdown, scripts and cuts to create the most original and compelling mystery stories, script doctoring and jumping in the edit when necessary, problem solving budget and schedule issues and generally maintaining the quality and success of the series.

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player who understands established true crime formats and can replicate them. A good writer and storyteller and a creative problem solver. Must have credits of Supervisory Producer or higher. Experience in true crime, and Discovery ID in particular, is a non-negotiable requirement.
