This is a Freelance Job
Indie company looking for a creature designer who LOVES monsters. You should be able to create an alternate take on traditional monsters (e.g. werewolves; Dracula) but also be fully capable of reading a manuscript and creating from the text unique, never-seen-before creatures.
We are NOT looking for photorealism. ''Finished-organic-earthy'' are the words that would best describe the style we are looking for. The viewer should be able to smell the moss riddled dirt that the corpse is being buried in. The reader should be able to feel the dank breath of the creature right before they are swallowed whole. These illustrations must be able to tell the story almost completely on their own.
This is a ''work-for-hire'' job for the creation of cover art. Based on the working relationship will extend to 10 separate pieces. If unique monsters and creatures are a passion of yours then please apply. We'd love to be frightened and inspired by your work.
