Copywriter

We are hiring a copywriter to assist in the development and sales.

The ideal candidate is a hardworking, positive person who is capable of succeeding in a fast-paced environment. They must be punctual, a self-starter, and respect privacy, as much of the information they will be working on and have access to deals with sensitive information concerning high-profile individuals and projects.

Responsibilities:
Create one-to-two page sales sheets for each of our available properties that can be used as a shorthand to sell to buyers.

Help create sales paragraphs to be included on books and in marketing and promotional material.

Help create taglines and ad copy to be used in marketing and promotional material.

Research and identify material-including interviews, statements, news articles, and original ideas-that can be used in marketing and promotional material.

Craft compelling headlines, hooks, subject lines, CTAs, and messaging that drive engagement and conversion.

Support the CEO in shaping, refining, and extending the brand voice across written materials.

Collaborate with CEO, editorial, and heads of other departments to align copy with creative goals and audience needs.

Edit and proofread copy for clarity, consistency, impact, and company standards.

Serve as a thoughtful creative partner to the editorial team, bringing strong ideas, clear judgment, and a collaborative approach to feedback and revisions.

Qualifications:
Experience creating exciting and effective copy to be used for marketing and promotion.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

A proactive self-starter.

Excellent headline, hook, and short-form writing instincts.

Strong editorial judgment with the ability to sharpen, simplify, and elevate copy quickly.

Comfort working with transcripts, scripts, outlines, creative briefs, research, and raw ideas.

Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Salary commensurate with experience.
