Our client, a leading recording and music organization, is looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team! In this role, you'll use your high caliber financial skills to support multiple budgets for a variety of Operational teams: you'll collect, organize, consolidate, and analyze large amounts of financial and supplemental data to ensure optimal business decisions, create concise narratives surrounding key metric and variance figures to plan and forecast, identify opportunities and actionable process and performance improvements, and work closely with other internal accounting teams to ensure accurate financial postings and reporting, among other tasks. This is an excellent opportunity with a global leader in music!
You should have:
- a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related field (CPA or MBA candidates a plus!)
- a minimum 1-2 years practical experience with financial planning and analysis, and strategic planning for operational divisions (i.e. HR, Facilities) with a solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS accounting standards and principles
- proficiency with ERP systems, Excel, and Business Analysis toolsets, including Visio, Tableau, SAP FICO/BW & BO, and Hyperion SmartView (experience with Visual Basic a plus!)
- a solid understanding of database/data structure and data-driven analytics
- excellent communicative, collaborative, and organizational skills, with a proven high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritize, multitask, and adjust to shifting deadlines
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity based in the Woodland Hills area of Los Angeles county, which will be remote until further notice, with compensation of $36-38.50/hr, DOE. For consideration, please submit your resume
