Concord Music Group is one of the largest independent record and music publishing companies in the world and owner of many historically significant recordings. Concord’s family of labels include Concord Records, Fantasy, Stax, Prestige, Riverside, Specialty, Pablo, and Telarc. The catalog includes titles from John Coltrane, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Miles Davis, Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, Isaac Hayes, Little Richard, Thelonious Monk, Oscar Peterson, the Staple Singers, and Chet Baker. In 2007, Concord formed a new record label with Starbucks called Hear Music and the label’s first release was Paul McCartney’s album Memory Almost Full. This develops new artists and will also be a home for established artists.
We are looking for energetic and reliable candidates, with great attitudes! Students who apply for an internship with Concord must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program which awards college credit for the internship and must be able to work 16-24 hours per week for 12 weeks. Currently we have internships available in Marketing and Digital Marketing. Please indicate in your cover letter which area would be the best match for you, and why?
Interns will be placed in departments on a first come, first serve basis, although we do try to match interests and backgrounds.
Student must have at least 2 years of music industry studies or related course study work completed.
