Full Time Job
The Executive Assistant will be responsible for assisting the VP's of Digital Strategy & Content with the day-to-day operation of the department, via a full-range of administrative and departmental support.
Our department is in charge of creating digital strategy and content for Comedy Central. We focus on original and show-related social content across YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
Responsibilities:
• You will maintain accurate appointment calendars, contacts and meeting-specific distribution lists for the SVP
• You will coordinate internal and external meetings, appointments, off-sites, presentations, luncheons and/or dinners
• You will compose and disseminate e-mails and meeting notes
• You will copy, scan and fax business documents when needed
• You will book transportation, accommodations and reservations for domestic and international business travel as well as create comprehensive itineraries
• You will prepare, submit and file Travel & Expense reports
• You will aid in the assembly and editing of decks via PowerPoint presentations
• You will assist with talent deal memos
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 1-2 years as an assistant or internship experience (preferably in the entertainment/media industry)
Additional Qualifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Proficient in Mac computers and standard office equipment
• Professional and personable demeanor with an emphasis on composure, flexibility and discretion
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills
• Superior organizational and time management skills with the ability to anticipate, prioritize and fulfill multiple tasks with an acute attention to detail and deadlines
• Love of comedy and Comedy Central’s digital programming is preferred
• Flexible with overtime and after-hours correspondence
• Knowledge of and passion for social media platforms is a plus
