Position: Corporate Sales Executive
Department: Corporate Sales
Overview:
The Corporate Sales Executive is an integral part of our partnerships team and is responsible for driving revenue and building relationships through sales and relationship development. This is a full-time, in-office position that requires you to work long hours in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
Position Responsibilities:
• Serve as part of the corporate sales team.
• Responsible for achieving and exceeding individual and team revenue targets.
• Research, identify and develop prospective corporate partners while building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline aligned with revenue goals.
• Be partner-focused and collaborate with current and potential partners to create new and innovative platforms which fit their unique business objectives.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with local, regional, and national brands across key categories, personally leading engagement with the team's important stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Ticketing, and Operations teams to develop integrated campaigns, hospitality packages, and in-stadium activations.
• Ability to utilize data and analytics to cater and develop presentations as part of the overall sales strategy.
• Work closely with the Partnership Activation team to ensure seamless transition from sale to execution and superior client service and fulfillment.
• Prior experience with DigiDeck is a plus but not required.
Other Duties:
• Expected to assist with events held at Huntington Park – including college games and other special baseball games.
• Hosting and entertaining prospective and current clients in suite & hospitality areas on gamedays and other non-gameday events throughout the year.
Qualification Requirements:
• Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
• 3 - 5 years of experience in sales (experience in professional sports a plus).
• Demonstrated ability to prospect, develop and close complex partnership deals while achieving sales goals.
• Excellent relationship-building, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong sports industry knowledge, specifically as it relates to partnerships and brand connectivity.
