This is a Full Time Job
Reporting to the Head of Events, you'll lead the creation and delivery of exceptional live experiences for CNN's new event business, including its flagship ''Global Perspectives'' series.
You'll shape the atmosphere, guest journey, and interactive elements that make each event memorable, working closely with cross-functional teams in editorial, marketing, creative, and branding. Your Role Accountabilities...
• Deliver end-to-end event production, including technical planning, budgeting, scheduling, and on-site execution.
• Own production budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships to ensure cost-effective, high-quality delivery.
• Drive innovation in event formats, technologies, and audience engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with local editorial teams to balance broadcast requirements with in-room audience needs.
• Work within a small, globally focused team based in London, contributing to revenue growth for CNNIC's events business.
• Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and brand alignment.
Qualifications & Experience...
• Proven expertise in producing international or culturally diverse live events.
• Strong organisational and multitasking skills, delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Experience in high-profile event production within media, corporate, or global brand environments.
• Skilled in project management and budgeting with a focus on cost efficiency.
• Ability to manage relationships with high-profile speakers and multiple stakeholders.
• Comfortable working across time zones and cultures with diplomacy and agility.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English required, additional languages a plus.
• Able to travel as required, including at evenings and weekends
• Able to be based in-market as required prior to major events.

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
