Associate Editorial Producer, Enterprise Booking

ccountabilities…
• The Associate Producer is responsible for keeping abreast of domestic and local news, making pitches for potential interviews, booking breaking news and competitive news guests and handling newsmaker requests across CNN's shows and platforms.
• The Associate Producer must be available to travel for breaking news to pursue interviews on the ground.
• The ability to collaborate well with internal and external stakeholders is critical to this position.
• This individual is responsible for constantly upgrading the quantity and quality of bookings for interviews in addition to special programming across the network.
• The Associate Producer may conduct pre-interviews over the phone and set up on-camera interviews and b-roll shoots.
• The Associate Producer will research and pitch provocative stories and work contacts for long term booking opportunities.
• The Associate Producer will handle all aspects of lining up a guest: researching potential voices, booking, securing transportation, and setting up satellite time.
• Travel required with on-site hybrid schedule.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications & Experience…
• Must have experience as a booking producer in breaking news and/or daily live interviews.
• Research skills are essential to this position.
• Must be able to multi-task, execute quickly, and be editorially strong.
• Knowledge of current events, key players and issues in global affairs a must.
• Organizational skills and writing skills are essential to this position.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Second language a plus.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $46,898.00 - $87,096.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
