JOB SUMMARY:
The Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse 'Seasonal Assistant, Youth Sports' will be responsible for supporting key organizational priorities that are inclusive of, but not limited to, Cavs Academy and Cavs Elite program coordination, youth sports social media marketing initiatives, Customer Service-related inquiries and more!

** This is a temporary position from September 2023 - June 2024 paying $15.00/HR. This position requires working onsite at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, OH approximately 40 hours per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage the daily oversight of @cavsyouthsports Instagram DMs, and Cavs Youth Sports Facebook Messenger, and respond to all client requests within 24 hours
• Create content plan for @Cavsyouthsports under guidance of Youth Sports Coordinator and develop unique content to grow reach and following
• Attend every Cavs Academy, Cavs Elite, Community Program and Cavs Elite event to capture video and photo content
• Create event recap videos and photo albums for all events to share with parents in post-event communication
• Collaborate with marketing team on paid social media campaigns and goal metrics
• Familiarize and stay current with league rules around licensing for music on social media and video content
• Serve as department liaison for FHC and digital department to ensure compliance with Cavaliers branding guidelines
• Assist with the set-up, execution and tear-down of all Cavs Academy Camps and Clinics
• Manage inventory in Cavs Academy storage facility; provide weekly updates to team and make recommendations for replenishment when needed
• Provide support in organizing, preparing and packing the vehicle(s) for upcoming camps and clinics
• Help with check-in, wrist band distribution, and other tasks as needed on-site for camps and clinics
• Provide customer service support to all parents, children and spectators
• Collect on-site feedback from parents and encourage completion of event feedback survey
• Serve as overall support to event execution and serve as point person when coordinator, youth sports, is at a separate event

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Currently attending (or recent graduate of) a 4 year Bachelors Degree from an accredited university required.
• Advanced experience with social media (ie. - Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, etc) required.
• Professional experience with photography / videography preferred.
• Experience working with children in a professional leadership capacity (ie. - youth coach, camp counselor, nanny, teacher, etc.) required.
• Basic understanding of the fundamentals & rules of basketball. Previous experience playing basketball preferred, not required.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as needed.
• Possesses a positive attitude.
• Strong verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Highly motivated, energetic, and passionate.
