Clear Channel Radio Digital, a division of Clear Channel Radio, seeks focused and motivated college students to intern for the 2010 summer semester. This position is part-time and unpaid.
Interns will be working with iheartradio - our music and entertainment portal which houses tens of thousands of songs, music videos, artist interviews, photos, news, contests and exclusive live performances! The iheartradio network also includes our free radio application for iPhone, BlackBerry and Android devices, which has been downloaded over 5.5 million times!
Interns will be helping out in various departments including Digital Marketing, Programming and Music Content. Responsibilities will include: conducting various online viral marketing initiatives, listening to and researching a large volume of music submissions for our developing artist initiative, NEW!, building up our social net presence, attending weekly programming meetings, writing descriptive teaser texts for developing artists, programming top 20 video on demand charts and more!
Highlights: Watch up and coming artists perform live in the office! Recent performances include Vedera and Neon Trees.
Requirements:
-Must be a college student (no graduates please) able to receive college credit
-Minimum of 15 hours/week
-Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and Word a must; Outlook a bonus.
-Knowledgeable of the web and social media (MySpace, Facebook, Twitter)
-Strong communication skills – written and verbal
-Passion for music and pop culture
