Job Description:
The Associate Producer will be responsible for a variety of production responsibilities to support our game and studio coverage. Responsibilities include writing, editing, queuing videotapes, producing edits and remote shoots for features/interviews for UEFA Champions & Europa League, Serie A and CONCACAF The role also includes pitching story ideas, guiding editorial content of live and studio programming, assisting with commercial formats and sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
• Pitch and execute ideas for features/interviews and work with editors to execute projects
• Coordinate video, graphics, sponsorship/promos and copy for game and studio coverage
• Collaborate with talent and production team, while using own editorial judgement to create compelling content
• Travel for on-site events and handling remote edits
• Work with senior staff to produce editorial content for various soccer properties (mainly Serie A)
Qualifications:
• Hands on experience producing a variety of sporting events (control room experience a must)
• Basic knowledge of current events in soccer and control room operations
• High knowledge of soccer, both internationally (mainly Serie A) and domestically
• Able to work under tight deadlines and handle high-pressure live TV environment
• Excellent communication, writing and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skill and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and within a teamwork environment
Education & Experience:
• Must have 4 years of experience in sports industry (speaking Spanish/Italian a plus)
• College Degree or equivalent experience
