Job Description
OVERVIEW
THE ROLE
Culture doesn't stand still. Neither do we.
We're looking for a Senior Manager, Creative Strategy to help plug brands into the power of Culture through sport, entertainment, music, gaming, creators and partnerships. This isn't a traditional brand planning role. It's about finding the intersection between brands and the things people genuinely care about, then turning those opportunities into creative platforms, campaigns and experiences that people want to be part of.
You'll work across high profile international brand clients, helping shape everything from sponsorship strategies and partnership platforms to integrated campaigns, live experiences and innovation. Working directly into our VP of Strategy leads, you'll also collaborate closely with creatives, account teams, insight, production and measurement specialists to bring ambitious ideas to life.
This is a role for someone who's naturally curious about culture, commercially minded, digitally fluent and creatively ambitious.
A great Senior Manager doesn't simply write strategies, they create clarity. They help teams understand where a brand should play, why it matters, and how it can earn attention through culture rather than demand it.
They leave every brief sharper than they found it, every idea stronger through collaboration, and every client with greater confidence that their brand belongs in the conversations shaping culture today.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
• Lead the development of strategic territories, partnership platforms and campaign ideas.
• Translate business challenges into compelling creative opportunities.
• Identify cultural trends, behaviours and tensions that unlock distinctive thinking.
• Build clear narratives that inspire clients and creative teams alike.
• Partner with Creatives and account teams to develop breakthrough ideas from strategy through execution.
• Ensure every creative idea is grounded in strategic insight and delivers against client objectives and has clarity at their heart.
• Champion integrated thinking
• Evaluate sponsorships, partnerships and cultural opportunities.
• Build activation strategies that maximise the value of sports and entertainment rights.
• Help clients understand where they can authentically play within culture.
• Present strategic thinking confidently to senior clients and stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Help grow accounts through proactive thinking and new opportunities.
• Support and coach junior strategists.
• Provide constructive feedback on strategy and presentations.
• Help build best practice across the strategy team.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
What are we looking for?
• Experience in delivering strategy within an agency, consultancy or brand.
• Experience working across sport, entertainment, media, partnerships or brand marketing.
• Proven experience developing integrated campaigns and sponsorship platforms.
• Comfortable leading projects and presenting to senior stakeholders.
Skills
• Strategic Thinking - you know how to move from insight to opportunity to creative platform. You simplify complexity and create clear strategic direction.
• Cultural Fluency - you live in culture. You understand what's happening across sport, entertainment, gaming, music, creators and fandom-and, more importantly, why it matters.
• Creative Instinct - you don't just write strategy, you inspire ideas. You enjoy collaborating with creatives and account teams and know what great creative thinking looks like.
• Storytelling - you're an excellent writer and presenter who can make complex thinking feel simple and compelling.
• Collaboration - you enjoy working across disciplines and know the best ideas come from building with others.
• Commercial Awareness - you understand client businesses and can balance creative ambition with commercial realities.
