As a Management Accountant, you will be a vital bridge between regional strategy and local execution. Reporting to the Regional Commercial Finance Lead, you will steward critical revenue systems and royalty lifecycles, ensuring data integrity and accelerating cash collection across the region. For local offices without dedicated finance teams, you will serve as the embedded finance partner.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
Business Finance & Revenue Operations
• Reconcile sales-pipeline data within CRM system (HubSpot) to ensure integrity between sales pipeline and financial records.
• Act as system steward for the royalty management platform BrandComply (BC), owning:
Contract maintenance and data accuracy within BC.
Generation and distribution of invoices to buyers/licensees.
Collection, review, and validation of quarterly royalty reports from buyers.
Upload, analysis, and reconciliation of royalty data into BC and/or client-specific systems.
• Collection of withholding-tax documentation where applicable.
• Proactive follow-up on overdue payments and take steps to recover payments, ensuring money is collected on time.
Month-End & Operational Finance
• Execute weekly and monthly closing activities, including cash release in AX to facilitate AR collection and accurate revenue recognition.
• Monitor AR aging, prepare status updates with clear commentary, and support the preparation of monthly cash-flow forecasts.
Budget, Forecast & Business Planning
• Partner with the Regional Commercial Finance Lead to prepare regional revenue budgets, quarterly reforecasts, and actuals.
• Support Client budgeting cycle and quarterly reforecasting processes with accuracy and speed.
Ad Hoc Projects & Continuous Improvement
• Undertake additional finance projects, process-improvement initiatives, and analytical tasks as assigned by the line manager to support evolving regional business needs.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a similar role within a multinational or matrixed organization.
Language & Communication
• Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate financial concepts clearly to non-finance stakeholders across diverse cultures.
Technical Proficiency
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
