Job Description
The Role
We're looking for a strategic Project Manager to lead high-impact initiatives that shape how our organization manages, supports, and scales its workforce. You'll drive the delivery of complex people systems programs, particularly via HR Technology and our HCM (Workday). This is a high-visibility role where you'll partner with senior leaders across the organization to deliver transformational programs that directly impact organizational effectiveness.
What you'll do
• Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic, multi-workstream initiatives including Workday implementations and enhancements (Workday's HCM core, ATS, onboarding, performance management, learning management system), vendor transitions and HR system integrations, job architecture and compensation structures, and people technology-related components of enterprise-wide initiatives
• Own full project lifecycle: scope definition, planning, risk management, execution, and post-launch stabilization
• Translate HR business requirements into technical specifications and system configurations
• Act as delivery lead and trusted advisor for Workday-centered programs, bridging HR strategy and technical execution
• Partner with HR, IT, and external vendors to design scalable, future-ready solutions
• Anticipate and manage cross-functional dependencies across recruiting, onboarding, performance, payroll, and compliance systems
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align priorities, navigate tradeoffs, and optimize delivery capacity across the portfolio
• Deliver concise, executive-ready communications on program status, risks, and decision points
• Influence outcomes and drive consensus across diverse stakeholder groups
• Support project management professionals through coaching, goal-setting, and performance development
• Assist in establishing PMO delivery standards, frameworks, and best practices that elevate team execution
• Contribute to PMO resource planning and strategic capability building
Requirements
• 8-10+ years leading complex, cross-functional programs in fast-paced environments
• Proven track record delivering Workday initiatives (HCM, ATS, onboarding, performance, LMS, or compliance modules)
• Demonstrated success managing vendor transitions and third-party integrations
Qualifications
• Executive presence with the ability to influence and advise senior leaders
• Exceptional planning, prioritization, and risk management capabilities
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to drive clarity in evolving environments
• Strong business acumen with understanding of HR operations and technology ecosystems
Location
This role will be hybrid in our Los Angeles office.
