The Role:
CAA's Global Safety & Security team is seeking qualified candidates for the following position:
Head of Global Intelligence & Threat
This multifaceted role encompasses the management and expansion of current Threat Management staff members and capabilities, and the establishment and development of a new Global Intelligence function. This individual is responsible for developing and leading the organization's tactical and strategic global intelligence program in the collection and analysis of information, the development of timely and coherent intelligence relevant to the threats to, and vulnerabilities of, the company's human capital, global office locations, international business travelers, and reputational assets and to inform the development of policy, plans and training to mitigate vulnerabilities. A key focus, of this role will be on bolstering and further developing our both responsive and proactive capabilities, ensuring that our organization remains at the forefront of proactive threat identification, assessment, and mitigation. Through strategic leadership and the integration of cutting-edge technologies, this role will drive continuous enhancement of threat and intelligence capabilities, informing and empowering the company to stay ahead of evolving risks.
Responsibilities:
• Establishes and maintains cross-functional relationships with senior leadership to support the development and implementation of policy and strategy to assess and mitigate threats to company assets and employees.
• Works with contract partners to prepare, maintain and manage detailed risk intelligence assessments of regions, countries and specific business locations.
• Leads and manages threat management and intelligence staff, ensuring efficient operations, timely response, and continuous improvement.
• Leads and mentors team members in applying structured analysis and the application of structured professional judgment tools.
• Evaluates incoming reports and information, and performs interpretations and projections under the guidance of senior leadership.
• Refines existing threat assessment methodologies to evaluate the severity and likelihood of potential risks.
• Prepares reports that include aspects related to their specifically-defined geographic or functional area.
• Ensures compliance with laws, regulations, executive orders, and directives to achieve goals and objectives.
• Projects and predicts data for estimates of future situations.
• Completes operational planning, targeting and vetting, based upon effective interaction with the policymakers, intelligence and law enforcement communities.
• Partners with global executives to determine or advise on a major geographical area or technology issues with world-wide implications.
• Leads by example; produces and maintains results by recruiting and selecting high quality staff members; coaches, counsels; trains, develops, and evaluates performance.
• Delivers threat assessment services by collecting, evaluating and disseminating accurate and timely intelligence to appropriate company executives. Finalizes and leads finished intelligence reports.
• Prepares regular briefs on key issues to executive and cross-functional leadership for dissemination within the company.
• Applies threat information to in-place security measures in order to assess vulnerabilities.
• In collaboration with senior leadership, recommends vulnerability mitigation strategies.
• Maintains strong and productive relationships with high-level domestic and international law enforcement, vendors, intelligence services and private sector counterparts worldwide.
• Maintains a collaborative private sector intelligence community designed to provide a network of information partners in private industry to serve the global needs of the company.
• Builds and maintains direct, productive, and trusted partnerships with colleagues in Global Safety & Security, corporate-level partners, the various corporate lines of business, and regional corporate and security leaders.
• Supports enterprise and department objectives by implementing action plans, timetables and outcome measurements, obtaining and allocating resources, reviewing progress, making mid-course corrections.
• Contributes to team effort by offering information and opinion; collaborates with other functions; accomplishing special projects as needed.
• Supports the development of crisis management policy, plans and crisis simulation exercises designed to enhance the crisis response and crisis communication capabilities of the company.
• The global presence of the company and the nature of media, entertainment and news operations require the Head of Global Intelligence & Threat be available outside of traditional business hours (as needed) to manage relationships and networks of information to collect and analyze relevant tactical information and to communicate to executives and stakeholders as needed regarding threats as they develop.
Qualifications:
• Master's degree with a focus in political science, intelligence, or related fields preferred
• 8+ year's analytical and leadership experience in government, law enforcement, military, or private sector threat analysis.
• Experience leading employees or directing the work of others.
• Strong oral and written communications skills and extensive experience briefing senior decision-makers.
• International experience and appreciation for cultural differences.
• Demonstrated ability to build partnerships, networks, and sustainable working relationships with direct peers and key internal and external business partners.
• Expert in one or more of the following: regional geopolitics; international terrorist threats; transnational crime; information protection; or open source analysis.

Compensation:
