The CEO of an all-female Production Company located on the Sony Pictures Lot is seeking a combination Personal Assistant and Executive Assistant to help manage daily tasks, scheduling, household operations, development, and production. The ideal candidate is keen to work on movie sets shadowing an active director, and has a passion for film and television generally. The ideal candidate is also active, tech-savvy, great with children and small dogs, and comfortable driving in Los Angeles.
Schedule: 30-40 hours per week with some occasional evenings and weekends.

Personal Assistant to CEO
Location: Los Angeles (in-person) Sony Pictures Lot / Fox Lot
Schedule: Approx. 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with flexibility)
About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and discreet Personal Assistant to support a CEO in the film and television industry. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced creative environment, anticipates needs before they arise, executes tasks with precision and professionalism, is great with children and small dogs, and comfortable driving in Los Angeles. . The principle is a Director actively in production on several films. The assistant will be actively involved in development, pre-production, production and post.
Personal Assistance & Scheduling:
Maintain and update the calendar, ensuring timely reminders of appointments and daily schedules.
Book and coordinate appointments, sometimes driving and finding parking.
Assist with packing and provide travel support.
Review calendar and meetings at the start of each day
Send a concise morning summary to team (daily schedule overview)
Monitor office phone and messages
Manage email inboxes (flag, prioritize, print key items)
Handle light personal errands (e.g., grocery runs, office supplies)
Prepare coffee or light setup for the day as needed
Maintain organization of workspace and materials
Hospitality & Errands:
Ordering food and light meal preparation.
Handle grocery shopping and ensure the fridge is stocked.
Help with technology troubleshooting as needed.
Coordinate with the full-time nannies, housekeeper, and house manager, and assist as needed; help source backup staff when needed.
Place and manage household orders, including handling returns.
Household & Pet Care:
Coordinate dog care between a daily dog walker, dog trainer, and overnight care when needed.
Manage vet and grooming appointments, order medication when needed.
Executive Assistant:
Comfortability writing professional emails.
Experience being on a production set.
Maintain organized filing systems.
End-of-Day Reporting
Send a clear daily summary with completed tasks and updates
Ideal Candidate:
Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented
Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Discreet, trustworthy, and professional
Interest in film/TV industry strongly preferred
Experience in pet and childcare a plus.
Proficiency in Zoom, Outlook, Google Calendar, and Apple Calendar.
Neat handwriting and ability to maintain a professional and presentable appearance.
