The Role
In this role, you will assist the Project Manager, Director, and Executive throughout the entire project phase, including design, construction, and completion of large-scale venue projects. You will be responsible for document control, communications, and all administrative functions to support the project team. Interact with Owners/Clients, Architects/Engineers, and Subcontractors, and project stakeholders professionally and tactfully on a regular basis.

• Attend regularly scheduled project meetings.
• Assist in organizing the project file system.
• Assist in getting meetings scheduled with project team members.
• Maintain minutes of relevant project-related meetings.
• Ensure the Construction Manager is implementing and maintaining its site logistics/utilization plans. Interface as necessary with adjacent and affected stakeholders.
• Assist in tracking open RFIs, Non-Conformance Logs, and submittals to ensure that the design team is providing the timely information needed to advance the work in the field.
• Update and assist in maintaining the CAA ICON project tracking logs.
• Review and log on-site inspection reports. Assist with assuring the highest standard of quality.
• Identify, monitor, and track all owner-open issues to ensure timely and effective resolution.
• Assist in the preparation of each monthly pay application for processing.
• Assist in compiling and assembling project deliverables.
• Assist in identifying/resolving obstacles to completing projects on time and within budget.
• Ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards.
Requirements
• 3-5 years of experience in the construction or a related services industry.
• Bachelor's Degree Required (Construction, Engineering, Architecture, Real Estate, or similar industry).
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Multi-tasking and the ability to problem-solve and master new concepts in a short period of time.
• Familiarity with the Microsoft suite of software (Word, Excel, Project, Teams, OneDrive, etc.).
• Working knowledge of the principles, practices, and terminology in the construction industry, including scheduling and cost estimating preferred.
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules.
• Detail-oriented, organized in thought, process, and action, as well as creative, analytical, and collaborative.

Salary/Benefits
$77,000.00
- 90,000.00
per year
CAD $77,000 - CAD $90,000 /year CAD
Salary may vary based upon relevant experience, time in the role, business sector, and geographic location.
