BuzzFeed Studios is looking for an experienced freelance editor to create high-end sizzle reels for our brands and marketing initiatives. We're seeking someone who can turn a range of footage into a compelling, polished story with strong pacing, music, sound design, and graphics. Immediate availability and the ability to deliver on quick turnarounds are essential and have their finger on the pulse of social media trends. Preferably located in LA and able to work from the Hollywood Office.

Responsibilities
Partner with Marketing and Post Production to take sizzles from creative brief through final delivery.
Identify standout moments and build engaging edits with a clear narrative and strong visual impact.
Incorporate music, sound design, titles, and motion graphics to elevate the finished piece.
Quickly implement notes and deliver alternate versions as needed.
Maintain organized projects and ensure final exports meet delivery specifications.

Qualifications
A strong portfolio of premium sizzles, trailers, promos, or brand reels.
Advanced Adobe Premiere Pro proficiency; After Effects and motion graphics experience strongly preferred.
Excellent instincts for storytelling, pacing, music selection, and visual polish.
Ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and meet tight deadlines.
Able to work from the Hollywood Office.
