The Role of the Intern: REMOTE POSITION, Some in person events possible
We are seeking Spring/Summer Interns to join our successful Management Team and our expanding Film/TV + production division. Interns will be paired with one seasoned Talent Manager in the firm, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of becoming a successful Manager. The role may involve collaboration across various departments (Motion Picture, TV, Talent, Literary, etc.). The right candidate is passionate about supporting artists, sharp at reviewing profiles and social media, and eager to spot the next wave of emerging talent.
Moreover, the intern will share administrative responsibilities with the Talent Manager, including handling a substantial volume of tasks such as:
• Serving as a key communication liaison
• Managing emails
• Crafting high-quality talent packages
• Organizing data
• Editing and reviewing headshots/reels
• Making phone calls
• Pitching
• Submitting talent on projects
• Establishing connections
• Networking
• Implementing new systems and files
The candidate should possess excellent communication skills to interact effectively with agents, casting professionals, clients, influential executives, and well-known figures in the industry.
Responsibilities:
• Administrative duties including handling phone calls, calendar management, scheduling travel, submitting, pitching, creating packages, and general management tasks.
• Serve as first point of contact with clients and executives.
• Track clients and potential clients.
• Assist with special projects, research, and compiling information as needed.
• Hours and Days are open to discussion.
Time Commitment:
Minimum Requirement of 15 hours per week.
Qualifications:
• Ability to work well under pressure; meet tight deadlines; manage multiple projects and expectations; maintain a sharp focus while managing competing priorities.
• Attention to detail, follow-up, and strong organization skills are a requirement.
• Strong interpersonal skills, while understanding the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
• Ability to effectively communicate and interact with employees at all levels.
• Great at quickly learning new processes, technology, and ability to assimilate oneself and become familiar with existing systems.
• Strong skills in Social Media, Office, Google Drive, Canva, Video Editing, Vimeo, etc. or a quick learner in these areas!
