POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Video Board Control Room Utility serves as a versatile member of the Red Sox Productions team, capable of performing a variety of control room functions as needed to support the execution of a high-quality video board presentation for fans at Fenway Park. Positions include Camera Operator, Camera Shading, Replay, Video Playback, Graphics, and Green Monster Operator. We are seeking a highly motivated individual that possesses a wide range of experience in a broadcast control room and is comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Operate an in-game camera to capture all ballpark activities with correct focus, framing, and composition
• Control a character generator to display graphics on the videoboards
• Manage a camera control unit to ensure that all cameras are colored correctly
• Use a replay controller to display all replays and highlight packages on the videoboard
• Utilize a video playback machine to create playlists and play videos
• Work inside the Green Monster manually operated scoreboard
CHARACTERISTICS/QUALIFICATIONS:
• Knowledge of any or all of the following equipment, Studio Cameras, Replay Controllers, Video Playback Machines, Character Generators, Camera Control Units
• Experience working in a professional control room
• Experience in college or professional sports industry preferred but not required
• Demonstrates a passion for and knowledge of baseball
• Ability to work in a fast-faced environment with a high attention to detail
• Available to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays throughout the year

Red Sox Productions plays a crucial role in enhancing the fan experience at Fenway Park by utilizing the ballpark's video boards to display statistics, replays, crowd shots, video features, and game highlights, while also managing the sound system for music and live organ performances. Additionally, the department produces video content for the club's social media channels, YouTube page, and NESN, and collaborates with various departments, including marketing, sponsorships, community/player/media relations, baseball operations, and the Red Sox Foundation, to create engaging video content.
