We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and personable Agent Assistant to support our Lead On-Camera Agent, who oversees Film/TV and Commercial talent.
About the Role
This role is ideal for someone who has previous talent agency internship experience and is passionate about on-camera representation. You will support the lead agent in all areas of talent management, communication, auditions, and day-to-day operations.
This is not a traditional 9-5 job. Calls, texts, and emails will require quick responses outside of standard office hours. Candidates must be confident communicators, strong multitaskers, and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities
Support the lead on-camera agent with all aspects of talent representation
Manage heavy email and phone correspondence, data entry, and administrative tasks
Maintain agent calendars, coordinate meetings, track deadlines, and organize materials
Assist with submissions, scheduling, client follow-ups, and project tracking for Film/TV and Commercial talent
Handle communication with casting offices, clients, managers, and creatives
Elevate and maintain BEA's social media presence, website updates, and branding efforts
Assist with content creation using Canva Pro, CapCut, iMovie, etc.
Oversee and manage the internship program, including hiring and training
Represent BEA professionally at industry events and on social media
Requirements
Prior talent agency internship experience required
Bachelor's degree and/or relevant entertainment experience
Strong interest in Film/TV and Commercial representation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities
Tech-savvy and a fast learner of new platforms and industry tools
Friendly, outgoing, and professional in all client-facing interactions
Proficiency with G Suite, Microsoft Office, Zoom, Slack, Canva Pro, Calendly, WeTransfer, iMovie/CapCut, Instagram, TikTok, Squarespace
Familiarity with industry platforms such as Casting Networks, Breakdown Express, Casting.com, InEntertainment, SAG-AFTRA, AEA, IMDbPro
Strong understanding of social media trends and basic graphic design skills
Must reside in the greater NYC area
Must provide own laptop and cellphone
Commitment to DEI and authentic representation
Hours
Standard business hours (10am-6pm)
Evening/weekend availability as needed
