This is a Part Time Job

A Block Starz Music (BSM) Regional A&R/Promotions Representative will:

1. Provide critique/feedback on Block Starz Music (BSM) releases and submissions
2. Participate in weekly BSM conference calls to discuss strategy and artist relations
3. Identify and refer qualified clients for BSM’s promotional packages and services
4. Identify and sign commercially viable local artists to BSM management contracts
5. Develop and/or acquire permission to new releases for distribution through BSM
6. Develop promotional strategies to drive traffic to BSM's website
7. Generate regional support for Block Starz Music (BSM) artists and releases

The ideal candidate must possess:

1. Knowledge and appreciation for music
2. Professionalism and desire to learn
3. Focus and self-motivation
4. A high level of personal integrity
5. Strong verbal and written communication skills

This is a telecommute position and reports to the President of Block Starz Music (BSM).
