PR Director

This is a Full Time Job

Bleecker Street Media is looking for a talented, experienced and passionate film lover
to join our team in a fast-paced, creatively dynamic independent studio PR
department expanding into LA as we have our biggest and most exciting fall lineup
to date! This role will report to the Senior Vice President of Publicity and will be
based out of Los Angeles.

Role responsibilities would include:

• Leading individual film campaigns, working closely with the EVP to handle a
film from launch through release and awards

• Contribute to overall strategy on assigned films and brainstorm creative
angles and ideas for dynamic PR campaigns

• Managing communication with talent, filmmakers, reps and logistics to
ensure film teams are happy and well taken care of

• Manage agencies on campaigns
• Managing overall logistics on press days, events and beyond
• Liaising between various departments internally to make sure PR campaign is
working in concert with other departments including marketing

• Help lead LA awards efforts on the ground across all films
• Maintain good relationships with LA based press

Qualifications:

• At least 6 years of work experience in Film Publicity
• Motivated self-starter skilled in multitasking and time management
• Strong leadership and organizational skills required, as well as great
communication skills
