The Production Assistant role is an entry level position that is vital in supporting the Bleacher Report Storytelling Team. This person must be an avid sports fan who keeps up with relevant storylines in the sports landscape, with an emphasis on college football and NFL. Someone who keeps up with what's trending both on and off the field. The ideal candidate for this position is someone who communicates well, can prioritize their own tasks, and manages projects efficiently. Must be OK with irregular hours – nature of sports storytelling coverage requires occasional nights/weekends.
Role Accountabilities...
• Ideate around topical storylines in sports to help determine content direction
• Work with Creator-talent to produce shortform, storytelling content
• Provide production support for all BR storytelling needs
• Source materials for storytelling edits including highlights, images
• Log highlights and other footage usage
Qualifications & Experience...
• Strong contextual sports knowledge
• Fundamental Production skills
• Great attention to detail and creative mindset
• Strong communication skills -- calls, email, Slack
• Ability to work in high pressure, fast-paced production environment with quick turnarounds
Salary/Benefits
Pay Range: $35,360 - $23,322.00 salary per year.
