Project Overview
A Los Angeles digital network is seeking a professional, reliable Technical Director/Live Switcher Operator to execute an exclusive, single-location live virtual masterclass on Sunday, November 22, 2026, with a mandatory on-site technical walkthrough and dry run on Friday, November 20, 2026.
This broadcast will take place in a private, high-end residential studio in Beverly Hills. Discretion, punctuality, and broadcast-grade technical execution are essential.
Production Dates & Schedule
Technical Rehearsal & Signal Check: Friday, November 20, 2026 | 2 Hours (Late Afternoon / Evening window TBD)
Deliverable: Full signal path test, lighting balance, camera positioning, audio leveling, and RTMP ingestion/latency verification.
Live Broadcast Call Time: Sunday, November 22, 2026 | Call Time: 2:00 PM PST | Stream Live: 4:00 PM - 5:35 PM PST | Wrap: 6:00 PM PST (Total: 4 Hours)

Required Responsibilities
1. Lead Technical Director / Stream Engineer:
Operate live switching between two cameras.
Manage RTMP/RTMPS stream encoding and output directly to the destination ingest server.
Monitor real-time stream telemetry (constant bitrate, zero frame drops, audio peaking).
Connect and manage local video encoder to the primary on-site fiber network, with redundant connection to a backup failover router.
Mandatory Technical & Gear Specifications
Applicant must supply or verify access to the following production package:
Switching & Encoding: Hardware production switcher (ATEM Mini series or equivalent) or vMix Pro rig configured for:
1080p at 60 fps
H.264 High Profile encoding
CBR (Constant Bitrate) locked between 6,000 and 8,000 Kbps
Strict 2-second keyframe interval
AAC Stereo audio at 256 Kbps
Compensation & Terms
Rate: Flat kit & day rate of $150 per operator, all-inclusive covering the Friday rehearsal window and Sunday broadcast call.
Payment Terms: Executed production agreement with payment disbursed immediately upon successful wrap and stream sign-off via direct bank transfer, Zelle, or company check.
Agreement Requirements: Signed Standard Production Services Agreement and Confidentiality / Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) required prior to dispatch. Studio address will be disclosed only upon contract execution.
