This position can be worked remotely. You must be available for travel to Colorado in late April for a writers retreat. Airfare and accommodation will be provided.

Big Deal LTD seeks a writer and creative for a freelance role in building out an exciting immersive theatrical experience in the heart of New York City. Do you sweat the details? Do you love to develop characters and their worlds? Do you have a wide grasp of voices with an eclectic, agile imagination? Then this role is for you!

As a member of our writing team, your responsibilities will include:
• Developing show bible for the experience.
• Drafting storylines and character arcs for scenes across the immersive theatrical space.
• Writing dialogue for scenes in the immersive space.
• Collaborating with designers to ensure alignment between the physical layout of the space and the experience as imagined by the writers.

Familiarity with the 1920s and with New York City geography are a plus. This position can be worked remotely, though availability for occasional travel to NYC is a plus.
