What would you do?
As an intern at BiCoastal Productions, you will work closely with experienced agents and learn the ins and outs of the booking side of the music industry - How does the process of booking start? What is important if you book a show? How do venues choose their programming? What do I need to include in a contract? What does effective marketing entail?
At BiCoastal, you are not ''just'' an intern making coffee and doing errands. We want you to be part of our team! One of the reasons why we have grown so fast is that we listen to every employee's ideas - good or bad - and constantly strive to be better. So we want to hear your opinion!
Responsibilities include research of new venues, looking for up and coming artists who could be prospective clients, database/software maintenance, assisting agents with contracting, among others.
Candidates should display strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as eagerness to learn. Candidates should also possess excellent computer skills and be extremely detail-oriented. This internship is a great opportunity for those interested in a career in the entertainment business.
Salary
This is an unpaid internship. Academic credit and a $15 stipend for lunch and transportation can be provided.
