Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Treasury & Compliance Analyst to join our finance team. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this hybrid role is responsible for daily cash reporting and recording cash transactions during month end close, while simultaneously supporting the company’s internal audit and SOX compliance framework.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
• Prepare daily banking activity reports for senior leadership.
• Process cash transfers and payments and record related journal entries to the general ledger.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in cash transactions; ensure all activity is reconciled and documented in the company ledger.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for banking partners to resolve service issues and maintain portal access for the team.
• Propose automated or more efficient methods for processing requests.
• Assist in the execution of internal audit plans, specifically testing key financial controls to ensure compliance.
• Partner with department heads to document and update process narratives, identifying potential gaps in the internal control environment.
• Assist in the performance of a variety of daily, monthly, and ad hoc audits.
• Support the year-end external audit process by preparing schedules and providing necessary documentation for treasury and internal audit requests.
Qualifications
More About You:
Required & Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in Treasury, Corporate Accounting, Internal Audit, or External Audit.
• Experience with banking and e-commerce software and websites.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; advanced Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, complex formulas, etc.) are required.
• Foundational knowledge of internal control concepts is highly preferred.
• Attention to detail and the ability to manage recurring daily deadlines alongside long-term audit projects.
