This is a Full Time Job
Talk Radio 1210-AM WPHT in Philadelphia has openings for a full-time Producer that will edit and help create compelling content both over the air and for our digital assets. Will also aid show hosts with topic development and provide necessary guidance on and off the air.
Responsibilities
• Scheduling guests and live interviews
• Researching broadcast topics
• Protecting the station’s FCC license
• Assisting in the development of on-air promotions
• Providing creative input on broadcast elements
• Scheduling talent appearances
• Overseeing live remote broadcasts
• Contributing to social networking and website updates
• Other duties as required by management
Qualifications
• Background in producing talk radio preferred
• Working knowledge of operating audio equipment
• Ability to use Google Suite
• Requires creative approach and ability to prioritize
• Knowledge of the broadcast area and station demographics is essential
• Digital posting preferred
• A high degree of time management and organization skills
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• 4 year degree preferred
