The World Famous KROQ is looking for a Morning Show Producer for Klein and Ally

Looking for a highly organized and highly motivated collaborative individual who understands the art of being a producer for a LIVE daily radio show. THINK BIG. DELIVER BIGGER. Must be able to wear many hats and communicate effectively with talent, management, guests, sales department, consumers, and also possibly ON-AIR. Social media skills and PR/Marketing are a HUGE plus. The ability to contribute ideas and/or execute the ideas of the team are imperative. Good energy and a strong work ethic are a must. Producer experience at a high level is preferred. If you thrive on high pressure and little sleep, then what are you waiting for?

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
• -organizing daily schedules

-prepping for games, segments, & contest giveaways

-organize, manage and execute weekly show meetings

-booking celebrity and human interest guests, pre-interviewing guests for on air

-building & maintaining a rolodex for regular guest bookings

-creating web articles & social posts for daily show content to generate online buzz

-screening phone calls when needed

-managing show appearances & events

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands and/or fingers to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years producing radio show. Must be computer literate; requires creative approach and ability to prioritize. Knowledge of the broadcast area and station demographics is essential; 4 year degree preferred.
