We're looking for a skilled candidate to take ownership of program management and process improvement to deliver a culturally accurate experience of the Amazon Music service globally.

Key job responsibilities
• Project Management: Drive end-to-end global localization projects (up to 30 locales), working closely with internal teams and external vendors.
Handle project coordination, monitor budgets and timelines, and maintain clear communication channels for reporting progress, risks, and changes to all relevant stakeholders.
• Linguistic Quality: Participate in the quality assurance process by evaluating translations for accuracy, cultural relevance, and brand voice alignment, including conducting content review and providing linguistic feedback to vendors.
Maintain translation assets including TMs, term bases and style guides, while tracking quality metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Tools & Process improvement: Leverage and optimize Machine Translation and LLM solutions within the localization workflow.
Support MT engine training and fine-tuning while effectively utilizing CAT tools and translation management systems.
Assist in evaluating and implementing new localization technologies and workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Documentation & Standards: Create and maintain comprehensive localization process documentation.
Support the evangelization and implementation of content and code internationalization best practices.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with diverse teams including content creators, marketing, engineering, product, design and programming teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Coordinate resource allocation with the vendors and actively participate in stakeholder meetings to maintain alignment across all projects.
A day in the life
This Localization PM will need to be adept at both managing projects and improving mechanisms, connecting global stakeholders on very specific messaging needs, while also maintaining big mechanisms to remove the roadblocks to delivery of hundreds of thousands of units of content in up to 30 language variants.
In order to streamline these mechanisms, they will work with internal partners and external vendors, leveraging both process and technology to achieve our goals.

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field
• Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
• 2 years of experience as a translator, editor, project manager, program manager or similar role with translation agencies, design studios, production or Internet companies
• Experience with in-house or third-party translation management and content management systems, including TM and TB management
