Animation Radioplay Editor

A24 is looking for an Animation Radioplay Editor to join a new adult animated series

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Create an edited radioplay of episodes dialogue based on circle-takes and Producer/Director input
• Review all recorded lines for quality
• Make and maintain a library of alternate takes, walla, and additional lines for future use
• Edit dialogue recorded for pickups and/or ADR
• Cut in ADR, ensure proper sync, and clean dialogue in preparation for mix
• Review episodes with Director and other creative supervisors once all dialogue is recorded and finalized, then distribute to appropriate staff and post team
• Ensure deadlines are consistently met and communicate progress of work to supervisors and to appropriate production staff

QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years' experience editing dialogue or animatics for animation
• Solid organizational skills
• Knowledge of working in both OS X and Windows environments
• Strong communication and self-motivation are essential
• Knowledge of Pro-Tools in a Post-Production working environment
• Knowledge about the latest editing techniques and trends, especially in animation, a plus

Covid-19 Update:
Production is currently planning for a remote start with the possibility of returning to an office setting if needed when it is safe to do so, with proper protocols in place.
