Senior Financial Analyst (Temporary)

Job Description THE ROLE: Senior Financial Analyst The Senior Financial Analyst will assist the Director International Revenue Planning & Analysis in the day-to-day operations of the department. Position will be actively involved with revenue recognition; ensuring the Jaguar contract database is accurate and up to date; reconciliation of data; and the performance of special projects. MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO: Revenue planning & analysis – assist in the reporting and reconciliation of monthly syndication revenue by genre Revenue accounting – Review of billing schedules; determine accuracy of revenue recognition of sales contracts; monthly reconciliations of accrued & deferred revenue to Jaguar system; review revaluation of A/R accrued & deferred revenue for accuracy; reconciliation of Jaguar/ SAP interfaces; assist in the monthly inter-company account reconciliation process; etc. Jaguar/ SAP database management – ensure Jaguar database is up to date to facilitate timely and accurate revenue analysis; reconcile monthly ledger to master sheet maintained by sales finance managers Sales administration – entering & maintenance of program sales deal memos into Jaguar/ GPS system; run sales reports; address special invoicing requests; maintain monthly Channel Partner order (status) reports Accounts Receivable Collections Support – provide support as needed to the A E Collections and Invoicing Departments. This would include identifying problem accounts, helping resolve billing discrepancies, reviewing contracts, liaising with sales coordinators and continued support through successful collection of outstanding amounts due A E WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: On our team, you'll have the opportunity to innovate and learn. YOUR STORY: BA/ BS in accounting or finance preferred Minimum 2- years of experience in public or private accounting Foundational accounting and/or finance experience working with debits and credits. Knowledge of revenue recognition accounting principles a plus Needs to be able to analyze and reconcile account activity and communicate issues, if any. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Will need to cross collaborate and partner with multiple departments including FP&A, Fulfillment, Legal, Sales and Technology. SAP working knowledge a plus Prior experience working with contracts a plus Media & Entertainment experience a plus Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A E Networks on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third-party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than eighteen (18) months. Compensation Contract Hourly Pay Rate: $47.00 The pay rate displayed serves as a good faith estimate for this role.
