Job Description
THE ROLE:
Are you an entrepreneur at heart? Do you keep up to date with the latest emerging digital platforms? The Manager, Product & Platform Monetization will be responsible for driving distribution, revenue & awareness for digital content across key digital platforms.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Organize and plan the strategic digital scheduling rollout of assets for maximum visibility of content across key series.
• Maintain content calendars for all platforms and series.
• Manage and update the content planning Airtable base and asset tracking documents.
• Write compelling metadata and copy for all channels and platforms.
• Oversee rights and restrictions for content on platforms.
• Work with internal S&P / Legal / PR teams on approval of content calendar and content formats.
• Maintain brand toolkits and update marketing assets on platforms as needed.
• Assist in analyzing platform data to inform content rollout.
• Assist in coordinating brand and marketing rollout on platforms with internal teams.
• Manage social communities and oversee scheduling process.
• Identify platform trends, new partners, and new formats to increase viewership and revenue.
• Liaise with content moderation and security vendors to ensure brand/platform safety.
• Partner with Analytics to propose A/B testing of content types and publishing cadence.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
• 3 - 5 years of experience working with digital video strategies at the brand/publishing level.
• Solid understanding of analytics with a successful track record of using data to make content decisions.
• Solid understanding of entertainment content consumption on social and digital platforms.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Must be able to prioritize and multi-task.
• Self-motivated, extremely detail oriented and independent worker with strong track record of cross functional collaboration.
• Social media and digital literacy, particularly online video and video production.
• Passion for pop culture and television.
