Description
Job title: Pricing Assistant
Reporting to: Senior Manager, Pricing, Commercial Affairs
Department: Commercial Affairs
Location of work: Kensington High Street London
We are looking for a strong candidate for the role of Pricing Assistant within Commercial Affairs to Support 2 members of the Pricing team. The focus is on pricing duties on front-line projects and includes liaising with other team members in Commercial Affairs, International Marketing and Production.
Main Objectives
• Identify upcoming international digital releases for pricing review. Assist with implementing pricing in the digital pricing system for international markets in a timely manner
• Effectively manage pricing on digital pre-orders. Ensure timely delivery of price codes to digital business partners prior to pre-order start date
• Review and respond to territory and label pricing requests, implement and investigate pricing as necessary. Working with support teams on any technical or delivery enquiries to resolve issues
• Manage and update the New Release schedule to keep a record of pricing on all key releases
• Working with the Commercial Affairs Vevo team on content management - updating banners, avatar images and descriptions. Responding to label/territory emails on Vevo updates in a timely manner
• Weekly sales and revenue analysis
• General Admin and other ad-hoc project support as appropriate
Main Roles:
• Implementing and monitoring global digital pricing
• Territory and label liaison for product and pricing information
• Analysis of sales trends and competitive market position
• Management of videos on the Vevo platform
• General support for the pricing team
Essential
We are looking for an enthusiastic, high calibre candidate who is confident and works well on own their initiative.
Proven ability to deliver the following in current or previous roles:
• Previous office based role with experience using excel to high standard
• Excellent ability to develop relationships
• Well organised with the ability to plan and deliver to tight deadlines
• Accuracy and excellent attention to detail
• Numerical accuracy and acumen
• Able to assimilate and understand large volumes of data
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Positive approach to work
• Experience of working on own as well as part of a team, and with colleagues at all levels
• Must be proficient in Excel, Word and Powerpoint
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
Desirable
• Record Company or Music related experience preferred but not essential
