141 Entertainment opens applications for its development internship program. We welcome candidates based in NYC or remotely from anywhere in the US time zone.
141 Entertainment is a Sundance and Spirit award-winning independent production house behind features like INGRID GOES WEST and MARJORIE PRIME, Ana Lily Amirpour's third feature MONA LISA AND THE BLOOD MOON and the recently completed SUSIE SEARCHES. Our development slate is focussed on bringing new (and often underrepresented) voices to the screen to make thoughtful but fun genre-adjacent fare.
Our internship program provides an opportunity to gain professional experience and build skills for a career in Development. Duties and opportunities include, but are not limited to:
• Script reading and coverage
• Source new projects through screening shorts and attending festivals r
• Research for new and existing projects on our slate
• Support team in preparation of pitch materials
Our internships require a time commitment of 2 days per week for a period of 3 or 6 months. We can support internships for class credit and provide a daily lunch stipend of $20.
