VFX, Production and Development Interns for Summer '12

Zoic Studios is a medium sized, award winning visual effects company that specializes in episodic, commercial, game cinematic, design, interactive and feature-length post production.

We are currently interviewing potential interns to join our ranks at what we like to call Zoic University.

VFX Interns will be given the opportunity to shadow VFX artists, assist producers with runs and other administrative tasks. Ability to work on projects when time allows and is needed. Weekly intern meetings with guest speakers from the studio and a mentorship program.

Production Interns will have the opportunity to learn more about the ''behind the scenes'' aspects of visual effects while being mentored by one of our many experienced VFX producers or coordinators. Production Interns will benefit from having great organizational and time management skills as well as a great attention to detail in project management.

Development Interns will be responsible for script coverage, researching market trends, and giving notes on written material in addition to light errand duties. A fantastic opportunity for someone interested in writing for television, film, or representing artistic talent. A keen interest in storytelling and writing analysis is a must for development interns! Previous experience with script coverage is a major plus.

Applicants must be team players and demonstrate interest in the visual effects or writing fields with a desire to learn and grow within our organization. Reliable transportation required. Internships are unpaid except for mileage reimbursement. School credit is available. Interns are required to work two 8 hour days per week.

The session we are currently interviewing for will run from May through August 2012. Please keep this in mind when applying. All interns must start and end at the same time. Few exceptions are given. All interns must be Los Angeles based during duration of internship. Relocation fees are NOT covered by Zoic Studios.
