Intern - A&R/Talent Agency

Interested in the music industry and have some experience? Want to learn more about Zobe Records? Becoming an A&R/Talent Agent Intern is a great way to gain real hands on experience and professional exposure. This position is designed to provide motivated and interested people with an enhanced knowledge of the music entertainment industry. Our A&R/Talent Agent Interns will help find, shape/mold, and create superstars! Our goal is to provide these individuals with a meaningful, educational, beneficial, and fun experience!

We offer positions to allow participation in various departments including (but not limited to): Marketing, Publicity, Advertising, Radio Promotions, Artist and Repertoire (A&R), New Media, Sales, Human Resources, Production, Creative, Soundtracks, Film & TV, Business Development, Finance, Licensing, Publishing, International, and Business & Legal etc.

This is an Indie Record Label.

Current artists include R&B/Pop/Rap/Hip-Hop artists and soon other genres of music artists as the label is open to all genres of music.

We are looking for staff interns to work on a virtual/telework basis to support the label's work in management, marketing, development, and especially social media.

As part of this job, you will be involved in building artist brands and their fan bases along with booking and business development.

Proficiency in sites such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter are a must. Detail orientation and self-organization will be needed to be fully successful.

You may also have a role in helping in radio promotion with commercial US stations - including e.g., preparing communications with program and music directors of major US FM radio stations, participating in PR efforts, assist with booking for talents, working with the A&Rs in developing the artists, promoter shows/concerts, assist/build street team, and more. Get involved hands on in working in the music industry and help to create some superstars! There could be opportunities to work face-to-face with the staff and talents in your region as we work with talents from various regions and have staff in various locations as well.

This can be done full-time (if you're serious and dedicated you can determine what you get out of the opportunity by how much you put into it.)

This can be done part-time (if you're working another job then you can work out a schedule that fits into your current one)

Local candidates should have reliable transportation and reliable internet and phone services for communication. Internship Start Date/Season: Can begin a week after selection and approval starting will be for Summer season but some interns may be able to start sooner if agreed upon
Internship Duration: 3 months of Summer (however some interns decide to stay longer and agree to 1 year if interested in advancement within the organization so that 1 year can be renewable)
Time/Days Required: Monday-Friday (minimum 10 hours a week to maximum 40 hours a week)
