Summer Intern - Video Editing

Type of Role: Internship, Unpaid (5- 8 hours per week. Hours can be negotiated)
Job Purpose
The role requires coordination with other teams to shape content for the Zhive Media’s produced YouTube channel, Silver Screeners. Buds, Julia & Olivia dig into the world of tv and film with Silver Screeners every week where they react to television and film media.
Essential Functions
Responsible for editing video content for the Zhive Media’s produced YouTube channel. Silver Screeners. Create engaging and visually appealing on-brand videos for a variety of marketing purposes (YouTube)
Attend virtual meetings
Skills and Qualifications
Proficient in Adobe Premier Pro or other video-editing softwares
Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards throughout the editing process, including precise trimming, seamless transitions, and accurate synchronization of audio and video elements.
Basic graphic design
Has availability to devote at least 5 hours per week
A high level of professional judgment in organizing, planning, and managing multiple projects and priorities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks, and delivering high-quality work
Strong communication and ability to reply in a timely matter
Interest and knowledge in today's popular culture and cultural climate
Experience with Zoom, Discord, and Notion is preferred
Salary/Benefits
Though this position is unpaid, we can offer school credit when applicable.
