This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship
Internship Start Date/Season: As soon as possible
Internship Duration: 3 months to a year optional
Type of Role: Internship, Unpaid (5- 8 hours per week)
Responsible to: CEO of Zhive
Job Purpose
This position will shape the Zhive digital magazine and inspire creatively compelling content. The role requires coordination with Zhive's teens to shape how we tell stories. You will also oversee with outreach to various organizations and people. In addition, the role requires organization and coordination with multiple teams.

Essential Functions
Reaches out to young girls and helps schedule and develop their content
Ensures content is grammatically accurate and completed within a specified time frame
Vast interest and knowledge in today's popular culture impacting teen girls
A great communicator who understands and enjoys working with teen girls and college-aged interns
Support administrative needs of the Head of Impact and CEO
Handle email correspondence to multiple people and organizations
Skills and Qualifications
Interest in communications, social advocacy, or social media
Has availability to devote at least 5 hours per week
Experience in writing and editing, preferably in a virtual environment
A high level of professional judgment to organize, plan and manage multiple projects and priorities
Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively as part of a team
Deadline orientated with the ability to juggle a myriad of details while maintaining a big-picture strategic view
Experience with Google docs, Zoom, and Canva is preferred
Project planning and production scheduling preferred
