Spring Intern - Video Editing

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Responsible To: Intern Coordinator and CEO of Zhive

Start Date: January 22nd

Role: Remote duration 3 months, a year optional

Type of Role: Internship, Unpaid (5- 8 hours per week. Hours can be negotiated)

Job Purpose
This position will shape the Zhive digital magazine through compelling video content. The role requires coordination with other interns to shape our publications' stories.

Essential Functions
• Creates engaging and visually appealing on-brand videos for a variety of marketing purposes (YouTube, Tik Tok, LinkedIn & Digital Magazine)
• Responsible for the editing of video content such as interviews and social media content
• Vast interest and knowledge in today's popular culture impacting teen girls
• Attend weekly and bi-monthly meetings

Skills and Qualifications
• Interest in graphic design
• Proficiency in editing software, preferably Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, Maya, etc.
• Has availability to devote at least 5 hours per week
• A high level of professional judgment in organizing, planning, and managing multiple projects and priorities
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively as part of a team
• Deadline orientated with the ability to juggle a myriad of details while maintaining a big-picture strategic view
