yU+co, a Hollywood-based motion design company is seeking a Facilities Coordinator. We are looking for a fearless employee to help us maintain both our office and our leased office. Duties will include:
-General office maintenance and repairs
-Calling in services like plumbers and A/C repair
-Facilitating roof maintenance, leaks and roof related repairs
-Getting reasonable quotes and hiring workers
-Managing parking lot
-Overseeing cleaning staff
-Maintaining office supplies and stock
-Helping with kitchen and office cleaning jobs and maintenance
-Assisting with gardening
-Moving and assembling furniture and fixtures
-Overseeing office renovations
-Moving computers and equipment as needed
-Assisting IT department with miscellaneous equipment tasks
-Managing storage facility
-Keeping shed and supply closets organized
-Assisting with any heavy lifting when needed
-Setting up parties and events
-Backing up PA's when needed on phones, runs and other tasks
-Pitching in where ever needed
-Keeping our facilities running smoothly
This is a not afraid to get your hands dirty kind of position. The ideal candidate will be very familiar with a toolbox. If you are a builder / carpenter, even better. We want someone who loves this kind of work and hopes to stay a while. This position is Monday through Friday 9:30am-7:30pm; weekend work is always a possibility. Candidate should plan to be on call to come in should there be any major problems with our office that need to be addressed on weekends or after hours.
