Intern - Board Operating / Producing

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Currently looking for Board Op/Producer for a 4 month internship. Time commitment will be 3-4 hrs a week. Mainly on Saturday mornings from 9am - 12pm which is air time for podcast and what ever it takes to contact & confirm In Studio or Phone In Guests.

What is required from you:

1) ability to operate multi-channel mixer
2) Connect regular calls from listeners as well as calls from our guests
3) able to book various celebrities
4) throw out ides of what guests should be on the show
5) be in touch with local/national trends for content purposes
6) help suggest and create fun content for the show
5) multi task between two computers, sound FX and mixer
6) able to set up and tear down equipment for remote broadcasting.

80% of job location will be at podcast studio in Cypress while 20% will be remote broadcasting from various locations throughout Southern California.

This is a great opportunity for a recently graduated communications student looking to cut their teeth and practice what they have learned in college. Or for those who just want to break into the world of Radio/Podcasting.
