Part Time Unpaid Internship
WHO ARE YOU?
Contribute photography ideas and assist in the implementation of marketing campaigns
Work closely with our marketing team to organize photo shoots and create video footage
Coordinate with marketing team on shoot and content schedules.
Re-touch, and color correct photos all social media channels. Film interviews with artists.
Participate in photo shoots, projects filming collaborations & events, etc.
Connect with musicians, events, and more
Possess exceptional skills in time management, communication and deadlines
Photoshop and other design software
A plus if skilled at photography (e.g. iPhone or SLR)
Include your Instagram, website link and/or portfolio if applicable
The intern term is 3 to 6 months. This is a non-paid internship, with flexible hours (minimum of 16 hours per week) to reflect your necessary college credit requirements. If the intern could hold the position very well, we may be able to offer a more full or part-time position with compensation.

BACKGROUND - youbloomDublin & youbloomLA
youbloom took off in 2009 as a weekly song contest. In 2010, it evolved into an annual online song contest, with judging led by The Boomtown Rats frontman, Bob Geldof. After three years, the song contest morphed in 2013 into youbloomDublin, a showcase music festival and conference in Dublin, Ireland, with 91 artists/bands from 11 countries. In 2014, the following year, Los Angeles was added with the launch of youbloomLA, a parallel music festival and conference. As a result, youbloom is connected to thousands of artists and hundreds of music industry leaders and companies.
In 2017, the company conceived youbloomConnect, intimate, curated, emerging artist, music shows with audience sizes 75 to 150 in unique settings in local cities delivered by local city youbloom promoters called CityReps. These musically diverse shows are boosted by youbloom algorithms that increase the connectedness of fans, artists and CityReps. We plan to grow to 15 CityReps by the end of 2020 and reach 60 by the end of 2021.
