Talent Agent – Film, Television & Theatre | New York

We are seeking a motivated, ambitious and commercially minded Talent Agent to join our New York team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging or experienced agent who is passionate about talent representation, enjoys building industry relationships and wants to play an active role in expanding our presence in the US entertainment market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage, represent and develop a roster of professional actors and performers across film, television and theatre.

Build and maintain strong relationships with casting directors, producers, creative teams and other industry professionals.

Identify new opportunities for clients and actively submit talent for suitable projects.

Negotiate contracts and employment terms on behalf of clients.

Scout, interview and sign new talent to expand the agency's roster.

Develop strategies to increase client opportunities, bookings and agency revenue.

Attend industry events, theatre productions, showcases, screenings and networking opportunities.

Maintain accurate client records, submissions, bookings and communications.

Collaborate with our international teams to identify opportunities across different markets.

Ensure compliance with relevant SAG-AFTRA and Actors' Equity Association regulations.

REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience in a talent agency, casting office, talent management company or related entertainment industry role is required.

Strong understanding of the US film, television and theatre industries.

Existing relationships with casting directors and other industry professionals are highly desirable.

Familiarity with Breakdown Express and other industry platforms.

Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills.

Commercially minded, proactive and confident in developing new business opportunities.

Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative international team.

High levels of professionalism, discretion and integrity.

Must be based in New York City or the surrounding area and available for in-person meetings and industry events.
